I had a friend who posted as her status how she was enjoying some Christmas music-listening. To which she got comments like, "yay!" and "me too!" And then some putz had to say "vomit." Um, excuse me, determined-to-be-perpetually-single-and-alone-in-your-obnoxiousness. Have we forgotten our manners? If someone puts that they are excited to go see their favorite band play, do you put "vomit?" Well, maybe you do, because you're rude, but that's called bad manners. Why do you have to be all negative when someone shares something that makes them happy. I'm not forcing you to turn to the Christmas station. I'm willing to bet said station is not your regular station (at least in the Seattle area). I'm never going to let you in my car because you are rude and clearly need more time walking to think about how you have behaved. So why must you be Dirk Downer?
Up next on the Things People Spend Pointless Time Debating on MyFace: Snow--do we want it to come or not? Um... People... it's gonna come or not come regardless of how rude you are to your Friends. Just saying.

So, are you listening only to Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas hymns or is there a little White Christmas, Happiest Christmas Tree, Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer in there? Just curious.
Ummmm... I don't think I own any Christmas MoTab? When it's on the radio it is whatever they subject me to. If it were my choice it would be some Nat and some Bing with a little Harry and some Charlie Brown Christmas thrown in.
Bah Humbug. :)Christmas music is just part of the commercial ploy to get us all to part with as much $$ as possible!(especially when you are hearing the music more than 30 days prior to the actual holiday.) That's why Dirk was vomiting. I am with Dirk on that one. If you need the economics / business plan lesson to back that statement up please let me know and I positively will be happy to share with you! However, I agree if he was being rude then maybe he shouldn't be. And just like in real life, if your friend doesn't like the rudeness maybe he/she can 'unfriend' Dirk? But Dirk might just be looking for a reaction from people...
Um, I believe that people who hear it in stores have already GONE shopping, and that is their own fault. I have not gone shopping and heard Christmas music. I just hear it at home and it makes me want hot cocoa not to buy presents. :p
