I googled my friend's name today, and came up with some interesting results. A few of the links had to do with her place of employment. One link highly amused me: an article that talked about how she owned a gas station in Wisconsin. She's been holding out on me.
I googled myself (It's smart to do that from time to time just to make sure there's not something crazy online--used to be you could find my cell phone by googling me), and I came up with several other people with my same first name. There's some chick in Salt Lake who has my first name, and she appears to be Mormon. She stole my name. I'm pretty sure I'm older. She needs to give it back.
So I decided to google family and friends. I googled the W's, and BoyW is an american watercolorist, and also an author of novels and poetry. GirlW is a famous australian singer, the owner of a yoga company, and an actress. All these hidden talents!
I googled all my family and found that both my sisters, my mom, AND my brother belong to this professional networking site. Is this a secret club you guys didn't tell me about? I wanna play too! Sister K was also acknowledged in a computer book. Sister A was listed on one of those find your high school classmate sites. It says where she lives and where she works. Since I've got the Safety Patrol in my blood (I was a crosswalk guard in the 6th grade), I emailed her and informed her of this. Stalkers could find her and follow her around!
My family has all kinds of hidden talents and accomplishments, too. My brother is apparently a doctor in Minnesota. My dad has played and taught tennis for 20 years. Who knew? Also he's an anime fan. That I totally knew. It's SO obvious.
