Technology Hates Me

So I have this printer that I got for free, which is my favorite price. It's been sitting in my room for quite a while unused, and I tried hooking it up tonight, now that I have the right cable to connect it to my computer. It totally hooked up to the computer and they were on speaking terms and everything, and I was so excited. Then I tried to print. First it jammed, then it just gave me error messages, and then I pulled the cartridge out for the third time to see if it wasn't in right, and it wouldn't go back in. And THEN my printer decided to power off and I can't get it to turn back on. So I give up. For tonight. And I may have to call Tech Support. And by tech support I mean one of my lucky friends who is on speaking terms with technology. Because right now everything I touch seems to go on strike. Everything recovers eventually, but first it up and quits with no warning for no apparent reason.
